Have You Given PTminder's Integration Capabilities a Workout?

Personal trainers are always looking for ways to create more hours in the day, so they can focus on their clients. Tedious as it may be, the administrative side of any small business is as necessary as any other area, but it's also one where time savings can be found.

When we designed PTminder, the main goal was to save you time. The solution takes care of the admin side of your PT business, so you can focus on your clients. That objective remains at the forefront of our thinking as we continually strive to improve PTminder, and one of the best ways to achieve time savings is to explore the solution’s integration capabilities, and leverage them to streamline the admin of your business even more.

1: Take Charge of Your Day by Connecting to Your Calendar

Don't waste time by trying to juggle more than one calendar system, or by having to co-ordinate your schedule and your clients’ – that often leads to double bookings. You don't need to ditch your Google calendar in favour of PTminder's; it integrates with Google Calendar with a simple sync. The idea is that if you're already using Google Calendar with Gmail or Apps for Work, you don't need to bounce back and forth between that and PTminder. All you need to do is activate the Google Calendar Sync add-on, and all your booking events on the PTminder Calendar will be posted into your Google Calendar as well. It's a one-way sync only, meaning any changes you make to an event on the Google Calendar side won't be reflected in PTminder's Calendar.

2: Provide Easy Access for Your Clients with Website Logins

Your clients can log in to PTminder via the client portal, and you can integrate your client login forms with your website. This means that your clients can easily access class schedules, book one-on-one sessions, set up and update payments, etc., via the client portal. Since they can manage this themselves, it saves you time. We've found that most of our PTminder customers are hosted on WordPress, Shopify, SquareSpace, GoDaddy, Weebly and WIX, so we've developed some instructions around each one.

3: Manage Your Expenses with Payment Integrations

It can be a struggle to manage your business’s finances and expenses, but it doesn’t have to be. One of PTminder’s key features is how it can help manage your finances. There are a number of ways you can use the app to track and report on your business expenses and income.

PTminder is compatible with Stripe, Debit Success, GoCardless, Ezidebit, PaySmart and PayPal. They can all be fully integrated into PTminder, and what this means is flexible payment options for your clients, the option to ditch paper invoicing, real-time credit card processing, integrated billing and the ability to accept direct debits and other payment methods. And if you're wondering which option is right for your business, we've created a Payment Integration Services Comparison Chart to help you decide.

4: Keep in Touch with Email Marketing Integration

As a personal trainer, you’ll understand the importance of not just engaging with clients from the beginning, but of building lasting relationships. You’re on their fitness journey with them, and in addition to your sessions and classes, you can also offer advice and tips that keep your clients engaged with your business. Email marketing is a great way to accomplish this, and you can save time by automating this process.

When you sync your PTminder client list with MailChimp, you'll be able to automate your marketing emails, messages and campaigns. Once you've created the message or email, you can set it to go out to your client list based on a pre-planned schedule. It means that you're enhancing communication with your existing clients, leads, and even suppliers or other vendors without having to spend hours at the keyboard doing it all manually.

5: Get Your Systems Working Together as One with Zapier App Integrations

One of the best ways to save time is to get all your systems working together—a single source of truth to manage your prospects, your clients, and your business. You need to be able to easily access information—such as each client’s progress and fitness data—and have it visible on the PTminder app. That means bringing all your data together in one system, rather than having to juggle several systems all storing different information.

Zapier lets you connect PTminder with over 4,000 of the most popular apps. The really cool part is that you don't need to be a tech wizard to accomplish this, because there's no coding required. Plus, it's FREE—Zapier is included with your subscription plan.

Why choose PTminder?

It's well worth taking the time now to explore the various PTminder integrations, because once you understand them and you've got them set up, you're going to save more time in the long run. The team at PTminder aim to give you back hours in your day, and leveraging integrations is the best way to do that. Plus, you've got the satisfaction and peace of mind knowing that business is still being taken care of—it's just that you don't have to spend your valuable hours taking care of it yourself. Not only that, but the integrations also offer greater flexibility and control for your clients, which is something they'll appreciate, and that gives you a competitive advantage.
